Bashkortostan CEC registered another four candidates for post of head of republic

Today, the Central Election Commission registered four more candidates for the position of head of Bashkortostan.

Candidate certificates were given to the director of the Urban Projects Development Fund Vladimir Barabash (nominated by the Civil Force party), the blogger Vladimir Kobzev (the Russian party of pensioners for social justice), the lawyer and the representative of the initiative group of equity holders Zulfiya Gaysina (the Yabloko party) and an entrepreneur, former owner of the "Vostok" Bank Rafis Kadyrov (the party "Patriots of Russia"). As of today, eight people have become official candidates running for the head of Bashkortostan position.

The Central Election Commission RB refused to register two candidates. Aleksey Molokin, nominated by the Social Protection Party, did not provide the set of documents required by the law for registration. Ramil Saitov (the Russian Socialist Party) provided an insufficient number of reliable signatures of deputies of representative bodies of municipalities submitted for registration.

The members of the Central Election Commission also took note of the statement by Saniya Timasova about the refusal of further participation in the election of the head of Bashkiria.
