Human rights activist Zulfiya Gaisina is nominated for post of head of Bashkiria

A human rights activist and lawyer Zulfiya Gaisina is nominated for the post of head of Bashkiria from the Yabloko party. The leader of its Bashkortostan branch Albert Husainov told about this the Bashinform News Agency.
According to him, the decision was made at an extraordinary conference of the regional branch of the party on June 15. , 16 delegates cast their votes for Zulfiya Gaisina of the 21 delegates who took part in the secret ballot. Her opponent, Kamil Gubaidullin, was supported by five party members.
“From our side, all regulations were observed. This was confirmed by the representative of the regional Central Election Commission present at the conference, ”said Albert Husainov.
“Zulfiya Gaisina is our candidate we can be proud of her. She is young, intelligent, energetic, committed to high moral values, Russia's future is for such women”, added the leader of the Bashkortostan branch of the party.
The 39-year-old Zulfiya Gaisina is well known in Bashkiria, as a defender of the rights of defrauded real estate investors.
