State Duma deputy and head of Kumertau will be Radiy Khabirov’s rivals in United Russia primaries

Today the regional office of United Russia at a meeting of the presidium of the political council approved the final list of candidates for participation in the preliminary vote for the subsequent nomination from the party to the post of head of the republic. It includes the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, State Duma deputy Zarif Bayguskarov, head of the city of Kumertau Boris Belyaev, and the Chairman of the regional branch of the OPORA Russia Lyaysan Nikolayeva.

United Russia also approved a schedule of meetings of candidates with secretaries of local and primary offices. They will be held on April 13 in the village of Verkhnye Kigi, on April 27 in Uchaly, on May 18 in Ufa, on May 29 in Neftekamsk. During the meetings, applicants for the position of head of Bashkortostan from United Russia will present their ideas and political programs. Total, more than 2000 people will take part in the meetings - secretaries of the party’s primary organizations.

On June 8, a regional office conference will be held, which will determine a candidate from United Russia for the post of head of the republic.
