IT technologies used by Bashkiria state authorities to communicate with public were discussed at Council of Europe

UFA, 3 April 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe was held in the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg. The Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev took part in it.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Bashkortostan delivered a report on the topic “Open Government in European Regions. Making Decisions in a Transparent Dialogue with Residents". Konstantin Tolkachev, in particular, told about the latest IT technologies used in Russia as a whole and in Bashkortostan to establish communication between state authorities and the public.
“A network of multifunctional centers operates in Bashkortostan. Public councils have been established under the authorities, residents have an opportunity to receive electronic state and municipal services,” said Konstantin Tolkachev. “The Official Information Portal of the public authorities RB, the Electronic Reception of the Authorities of the Republic of Bashkortostan and other electronic resources, which are easily accessible, are created to accumulate the whole complex of information on the activities of public authorities, to streamline interaction with the public."
The Chairman of the State Assembly stressed that the development of electronic resources of state bodies in Bashkortostan took into account three key conditions: content, usability and modern design.
“Residents of the republic can make offers on the improvement of republican and federal legislation through the Internet, speed up the adoption of necessary amendments to laws, and interact in real time with deputies of various levels,” said Konstantin Tolkachev. “International and Russian practices show that, by implementing the principles of openness, state power solves the problem of effective interaction with society. Engagement of civil society representatives in the process of developing and making decisions increases the degree of trust in the state and its representatives at all levels of government. ”
