Radiy Khabirov’s social media accounts are recognized as best among accounts of Russian governors

The “Petersburg Politics” Foundation placed social media pages of Radiy Khabirov, the head of Bashkiria, in the “best governors accounts” category and placed them in the first place in the final table. This is stated in the review of the Foundation "Governors are Back on Social Media", published on its official website.

In the review, in particular, it is noted that the Radiy Khabirov’s posts on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki) about official events alternate with personal posts, stories from his biography. The texts are written with emotion, in the first person, good style, which creates an effect of openness, mutual acquaintance, affinity with people.

The Foundation experts point out the main message of the publications: "Governing the republic as viewed by its head." The focus on solving political issues is high.

The report recalls that at the end of 2018, there were reports that work in social networks could be one of the performance criteria of regional administrations. Moreover, in February 2019, at a forum in Sochi, during one of the dialogs, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev again showed interest in the work of the heads of regions in social media, thereby finally “politically rehabilitating” them.
