Radiy Khabirov nominates “Sibay, Breathe” activists for involvement and support award

The day before, during a working visit of Radiy Khabirov to the city of Sibay, the head of the region met with activists of the “Sibay, Breathe” group. Radiy Khabirov spoke about the decisions taken at the meeting on the environmental situation in the city, emphasizing that the flooding of the quarry would be conducted under the control of specialists and would not affect the health of the Sibay residents. The head of Bashkortostan noted that that measure did not pose any threat to the lives and health of residents and they could stay in the city safely. According to Khabirov, after the flooding of the glow nests, they would turn to a phase of calm, thoughtful work on the further fate of the quarry.

“After this situation is solved, we will hold a meeting in Ufa with the participation of the management of Uchalinsky GOK JSC. Nobody guarantees us what will happen with this quarry further. In my understanding, it is subject to recultivation”, noted the Acting Head of the region.

Radiy Khabirov thanked the activists for their involvement and support.

“I am grateful to you that you have taken such a constructive approach, believed us. I want to nominate your group for one of the volunteer prizes this year”.
