Radiy Khabirov named State Duma deputies drivers in work with federal government

UFA, 30 January 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at a meeting with the deputies of the State Assembly - the Kurultay of the Republic, named them “drivers interacting with the federal bodies of state power”.
The meeting with parliamentarians was devoted to the preliminary results of the work on attracting federal funds to the region, allocated within the framework of national projects and targeted programs. As Radiy Khabirov emphasized, some success in this direction had already been achieved.
“We want to reach a systemic, higher quality level on attracting federal funds to the republic. We will evaluate the work of our parliamentarians depending on the sum of federal funds raised by each of them. We count on the utmost efforts in work of each of you. We need more active work of the deputy corps on lobbying for republican bids”, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan addressed to the deputies.
The most crucial part of the work is ensuring the participation of the republic in the implementation of national projects and federal targeted programs, it was marked at the meeting in the Government.
“There are currently 30 federal programs in which our participation is possible. Last year the Republic of Bashkortostan took part in all of them. The actual receipts from the federal budget amounted to 65.7 billion rubles. This is by 1.8 billion rubles more than in 2017,” stated the Interim Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Government Staff of Bashkortostan Ilshat Tazhitdinov. “The total spending of the allocated federal funds amounted to 65.6 billion rubles. In relative terms, this is 99.8 percent, which indicates a fairly high level of financial discipline”.
Bashkortostan is now ranked eighth in Russia by the total amount of gratuitous receipts from the federal budget.
“Our common goal this year is to increase this figure to at least 70-75 billion rubles,” Radiy Khabirov, summed up the meeting with deputies.
