Radiy Khabirov expressed his condolences in connection with tragedy in Rostov region

Acting Head of Bashkortostan sent a telegram addressed to the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev. Radiy Khabirov expressed in it his condolences in connection with a tragedy that occurred in the city of Shakhty on January 14.

“On behalf of the residents of the Republic of Bashkortostan and on my own behalf, I express deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the household gas explosion in a residential building in the city of Shakhty. We grieve together with all the inhabitants of the Rostov region, we share your pain of irreparable loss. Please report our words of sympathy and support to everyone who suffered in this tragedy. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured”, the telegram says.

The explosion of household gas in the multi-storey building of the town of Shakhty in the Rostov Region occurred on Monday. The eighth and ninth floors partially collapsed: 16 apartments were damaged. Five bodies were recovered from the debris. It was managed to save seven people.

A day of mourning is declared in the Rostov region on January 16.
