President of Tatarstan: “Radiy Khabirov has gained extensive experience at Presidential Executive Office”

The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov called Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov a sophisticated politician with extensive experience gained at the Presidential Executive Office of Russia and as mayor of Krasnogorsk. The head of the neighboring republic said this at a press conference following his ninth presidential year.

“I believe that there is no one closer than Tatar and Bashkir. We have only pronunciation somewhat different,” Realnoe Vremya quotes the words of Minnikhanov. Bashkortostan is a self-sufficient territory, one of the most powerful regions of the country. Tatarstan is also self-sufficient. We should only make friends and integrate common interests more - our petrochemical, machine-building complexes”.

Recall, that the Acting Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov was appointed on his post on October 11 after a voluntary resignation of the former head of the republic Rustem Khamitov.
