Radiy Khabirov ranked 11th in National Rating of Governors in 2018

Acting Head of Bashkortostan took the 11th place in the National Rating of Governors in 2018. The results were obtained on the basis of absentee questioning, correspondence and in-person interviews with representatives of the expert community. The expert survey was conducted by the Information Communications Center "Rating". Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin ranked first in the survey. The first three also included the governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor and the head of the Tula Region Alexey Dyumin.

According to experts, Radiy Khabirov is in the second place among the Volga Federal District leaders after Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President.

As political analyst Dmitry Mikhailichenko believes, a large-scale (almost total) replacement of administrative elites in the first months of the leadership of the new Acting Head indicates that Khabirov does not trust the key elements of the Khamitov’s era management system.

“We will see whether the new administrative elites will be more effective in terms of the common people interests. The same item will be a key one from the point of view of Radiy Khabirov’s effectiveness as the leader of this complex multinational region of the Russian Federation. In the meantime, it is obvious that he knows what to do, has his own action plan and scenario of the republican development”, said Dmitry Mikhailichenko.

The last places in the National Rating were occupied by the governors of the Volgograd and Murmansk Regions Andrey Bocharov and Marina Kovtun, as well as the head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov.
