Former head of Bashkortostan Government officially announced his return to Central Bank of Russia

UFA, 3 December 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Former Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov officially announced his decision to return to work in the system of the Central Bank of Russia.

“I made a decision to return to the system of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, where I had been working since 1994,” said Rustem Mardanov at a briefing on the results of his work as the Prime Minister of the republican government. “In 2013 my start of work in the Government of Bashkortostan coincided with a difficult period in the life of the republic when crisis phenomena enhanced in the country. At that time, it had to be done much to ensure the financial stability of the region”.

According to him, a lot has been done to increase economic growth and maintain investment activity. Significant tasks in the social sphere were solved in order to enhance social security and ensure targeted social assistance.

“Now the head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, establishes new large-scale goals for the Government. The new May decree of the President of the country sets significant tasks for the republic. I am sure that today everyone is interested in our republic developing and being among the best regions of Russia. So that we can be proud of it in the future”, the ex-prime minister of the Government of Bashkortostan concluded.
