Radiy Khabirov introduced new format of meetings to address promptly healthcare issues

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov introduced a new format of weekly sessions - “Healthcare Hour” - to address quickly healthcare issues. Radiy Khabirov held the first such “Healthcare Hour” with the participation of heads of municipalities and heads of medical institutions of the region as a video-conference yesterday.

““Healthcare Hour” is a new event and we will practice this form of work weekly at a certain time. Not only problems of the industry will be discussed there but also specific and quick decisions will be made”, outlined Radiy Khabirov. He also urged the heads of municipalities to submit him their suggestions on issues that required attention.

As the Interim Minister of Health RB Rafael Yapparov said, currently Bashkiria had the largest in the country medical and obstetric stations network, which was growing every year. This year alone, 24 new stations began operating in the region. However, almost 1/3 of the functioning medical and obstetric stations need major repairs, and 31 are in disrepair. Another 105 primary health care facilities do not operate due to a lack of specialists. The maximum number of such empty stations is in Karmaskaly (9), Baymak (8), Khaibullino (7) and Baltachevo (7) districts.

After listening to a detailed report by the Interim Minister of Health, Radiy Khabirov instructed to set specific dates for solving problems in each municipality, and also instructed the heads of districts to find time and visit the stations, talk with the population, find out and understand their problems.

Radiy Khabirov also proposed to popularize a profession of rural paramedics and instructed to provide various options for rewards for rural paramedics, for example, grants.
