Radiy Khabirov issued decree on prizes of Head of Bashkortostan to Olympiads winners and their teachers

In Bashkortostan, it was decided to financially encourage the winners, prize-winners of international, All-Russian and inter-regional Olympiads, as well as their teachers. The corresponding decree was signed by the Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov.

According to the published document, the annual awards of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan to the winners and prize-winners of international, all-Russian and interregional Olympiads (competitions) in the field of education aimed at developing the intellectual abilities of students, as well as to the teaching staff prepared them, are established since 2018.

A prize for winners of Olympiads and teachers who prepared them will be 60 thousand rubles to each of them. Prize-winners of Olympiads and their teachers will receive per 30 thousand rubles.

Olympiads, following which the prizes are awarded, should be included in the lists of competitions approved by orders of federal executive bodies in the field of education.

“The winners and (or) prizewinners of several Olympiads will be awarded and paid for each achievement,” the decree says.

According to the Ministry of Education of Russia, in the 2017/2018 school year, there were more than 1.3 thousand general education schools and 468 thousand schoolchildren in Bashkortostan.

Teaching in schools of the republic is conducted in Russian, Bashkir, Tatar, Chuvash, and Udmurt. In addition, Mari, Mordovian, German, Ukrainian and Latvian languages are studied as a subject.
