Radiy Khabirov met with deputies of Bashkiria State Assembly

UFA, 24 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov today at a meeting with the leadership and chairmen of the standing committees of the State Assembly RB said that he hoped for smooth and results-oriented work with the deputy corps. According to him, the multi-party system of the new parliament makes it possible to identify the opinions of the people who voted for this or that party.
Acting Head of the republic introduced the new chief of his staff, Alexander Sidyakin, to the deputies, who was appointed to this position today. Radiy Khabirov called on the leadership of the regional State Assembly to be more actively involved in the work of the Government RB, to take part in meetings and to convey the voters' point of view on various issues.
The Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev stressed that the new parliament, despite the almost complete renewal of its membership (75 deputies elected for the first time), in its work considered the adoption of laws aimed at improving the quality of life of people as its main guideline. One of the main activities of people's representatives is the personal reception of citizens and work with their appeals.
“However, officials often formally refer to citizens' appeals, sending ordinary replies in response to their appeals. Deputies will have to strengthen the control in this direction”, the Speaker of the republican parliament noted. To get rid of the formal approach, the State Assembly created a working group on monitoring the implementation of legislation on citizens' appeals.
The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan asked Radiy Khabirov to help them in organizing the work of administrative commissions in the municipalities.
“The law specifies 38 various kinds of administrative offenses, many of which are in a “sleeping” state due to the unsatisfactory work of the administrative commissions. For example, neighboring Tatarstan collects more than six billion rubles to the budget in the form of fines for traffic offenses, and we collect only 1.6 billion rubles. I think that this money will be useful for the municipal budgets and we have much to do in this direction”, said Konstantin Tolkachev.
