Heads of municipalities and head physicians will be engaged in medical personnel retention in Bashkiria

On October 18, Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a meeting dedicated to the issues of accessibility and quality of medical care. Members of the Government RB, heads of municipalities, heads of healthcare institutions, experts and long-service employees of the industry took part in it.

The topics discussed included development of the health care system facilities, training of the necessary medical personnel, provision of medicines, and an increase in the personnel's communication culture.

The meeting participants marked the necessity to develop a network of medical institutions - from large republican facilities to clinics in new residential complexes and medical and obstetric centers in municipal districts, equipping them with necessary equipment, upgrading the outdated one.

According to the head of the region, the most important area of work is the training of highly qualified medical personnel and their retention in the republic. Radiy Khabirov underlined that directly heads of municipalities and head physicians should solve the issues of attracting specialists, creating the necessary conditions for them.

Acting Head of the Republic also noted the importance of improving the culture of medical workers.

During the discussion, leading experts, specialists and long-service employees of the industry shared with the head of the region their views on how to improve the quality of medical care to the population of our republic.
