Days of Vietnamese Culture will be held in Bashkiria

UFA, 17 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Days of Vietnamese culture are planned to be held in Bashkortostan. The event will be organized with the assistance of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg. An agreement on this was reached during the yesterday’s meeting of the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov with the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Yekaterinburg Ngo Phuong Nghi.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Committee of Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations Ruslan Mirsayapov and the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Ufa Vener Galiakbarov.
The parties discussed the issues of expanding cooperation in the economy, education and culture areas.
Rustem Mardanov recalled that in January 2017 the delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan paid a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where it had a number of meetings with top officials of the state, in particular with President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang. During the last visit, an Agreement on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres, as well as an Action Plan for the implementation of the Agreement for 2017-2019, were signed. The Prime Minister underlined that Bashkortostan was actively cooperating with the Vietnamese province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. He informed Vietnamese colleagues about the plans of the Government RB to organize an official visit of the delegation of the region to the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau in 2019, and also invited representatives of Vietnam to take part in the First International Export Forum “Time to Export” to be held on November 23, 2018 in Ufa.
According to the Consul General of Vietnam, Bashkortostan is a promising partner for cooperation with Vietnam, the parties have a high potential for cooperation. The diplomat highly appreciated the training of specialists in the field of the oil industry at Bashkortostan universities.
During the discussions, the parties agreed to work out opportunities for expanding quotas for students from Vietnam in universities of the republic, organizing student and cultural exchanges, trade cooperation, in particular, exporting diesel fuel to Vietnam, importing Vietnamese fruits, the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations reports.
