Bashkortostan Parliament to consider tax reduction bill for PDA residents

The deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkiria plan to consider a draft law “On setting tax rates for certain categories of taxpayers applying the simplified taxation system” at the next plenary meeting. This innovation implies a reduction in tax rates for taxpayers - residents of priority development territories (PDA) using the simplified taxation system.

"A three-fold reduction in the tax rate is proposed. When the object of taxation is "income" - from 6% to 2%, when the object of taxation is "income less expenses" - from 15% to 5%", explained the benefits of the bill the Speaker of the regional parliament Konstantin Tolkachev.

He also noted that currently two priority development territories have been created in the republic. These are mono-cities Belebey and Kumertau. The new bill aims to create a favorable economic climate in these territories. It will help to attract additional investment, create new permanent jobs and improve the socio-economic situation in the municipalities.
