Rustem Khamitov met with leadership of Bashkortostan State Assembly - Kurultay committees

UFA, 4 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the leadership of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB, chairmen and vice-chairmen of parliamentary committees.

“A large five-year working period starts in the State Assembly - Kurultay. This is a crucial, important moment for the republic, the population, you as well. We should start this work correctly, with the right understanding of what should be done ahead,” said the Head of the Region.

Rustem Khamitov marked that the growth of self-identification of the residents of the republic, the increase in demands for power structures, quality of life formed new challenges.

“Our parliament is an authority that should be always close to people, see all sides of life, pros and cons, work to ensure that cons will gradually turn into pros,” the Head of Bashkortostan emphasized. “Your task is to adjust the legislation in such a way that it will correspond to the realities of life, will be not formalistic, and focused only on the process, but will actually be aligned with life.”

According to Rustem Khamitov, there are still niches not covered fully by the legislation in the republic. It relates to such areas as volunteering, family entrepreneurship, cooperative entrepreneurship and others.

“I am sure that there are niches and spheres that need to be re-examined, disclosed, and put in order so that our people can work calmly, normally and reasonably,” said the Head of the Republic. “Parliamentarian work is very difficult and responsible as the well-being of our republic ultimately depends on its result.”
