Expert councils will be formed in Bashkortostan Parliament

UFA, 4 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev instructed to form expert councils at the committees of the parliament.

“At each committee, at least one expert council should be created by the end of October, and some committees, taking into account their competence scope, two or more,” commented on Konstantin Tolkachev. Expert councils under the committees of the State Assembly are permanent advisory bodies and are formed for the term of office of deputies of the current convocation. They develop legislative proposals, conduct a preliminary examination of draft laws, and make recommendations on the main areas of federal and republican legislation improvement. The expert councils include deputies of the State Assembly, representatives of state bodies of the republic, local governments, public associations, scientists and highly qualified specialists in relevant areas.

Konstantin Tolkachev noted that proposals for holding parliamentary hearings, roundtables and other events of the State Assembly in the near future will also be formed within the designated time frame.
