Rustam Ishmukhametov was elected the head of the United Russia faction, the faction of the Liberal Democratic Party was led by Vyacheslav Ryabov, the Communist Party faction - the first secretary of the Bashkir Communist Party Yunir Kutluguzhin, the faction of "Fair Russia" - the leader of the party in Bashkiria Yuri Ignatiev, the regional branches of the parties said.

"According to the voting results, United Russia received 79 seats, the Communist Party - 15, the LDPR - 7, and" Fair Russia "- 5," Patriots of Russia "- 2," Greens "- 1 and one mandate from the self-nominated. The new parliament will have to work in an even larger multi-party system than the fifth convocation", said Konstantin Tolkachev, Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay.

Also yesterday, a meeting of deputies for the preparation of the first meeting of the Sixth National Assembly was held.

This year the parliament of the republic has been substantially updated. Only 35 deputies of the previous composition were left there, and 75 people were elected for the first time. The number of women has increased - now there are 18 people. More than half of deputies are under the age of 50.
