Turnout in elections to Bashkortostan State Assembly exceeded 47%

UFA, 10 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In Bashkiria, 47.11% of voters participated in the elections to the Legislative Assembly of the republic, according to the Secretary of the Central Election Commission RB Marina Dolmatova.

"The turnout of voters according to preliminary data in the regions of the republic was 59.81%, in the cities - 38.77, in the capital of Bashkiria - 27.55%. For comparison: about 53% of voters took part in the last elections to the State Assembly RB".

In Bashkortostan the elections to the regional parliament completed. Residents of the republic elected 110 deputies of the legislative assembly. Half of them were elected in single-mandate constituencies, the other half from political parties lists.
