Rustem Khamitov took part in deputies’ elections to State Assembly – Kurultay of Bashkortostan

On September 9, in Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in the elections of the deputies to the State Assembly - the Kurultay RB. The head of the region voted at the polling station No. 109 located at the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.

"Elections are an important part of our history, democracy," Rustem Khamitov said. "The main thing for the elections is honesty, transparency and competitiveness. In my opinion, the pre-election campaign was held quite properly in this regard".

The Head of Bashkortostan noted a significant role of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB in the life of the republic. The parliamentarians resolve issues related to the regional budget, the budget of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, the allocation of resources for road construction, the benefits to veterans of labor, and others.

"Our residents take part in solving crucial issues through the elections, the formation of the composition of the State Assembly - Kurultay", the head of the region stressed. "It seems to me that our parliament will be creative, capable of forming new ideas. The main thing is to work for the benefit of the residents of our republic".
