Political parties signed "For Fair Elections" agreement in Ufa

On August 30, the Bashinform News Agency a signing ceremony of the "For Fair Elections" agreement took place between the representatives of six political parties participating in the elections of the deputies of the State Assembly - the Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan in a single electoral district.

"On August 22, a meeting of the inter-party council took place, where it was decided to draft and sign an agreement "For Fair Elections" between political parties in order to ensure open, honest and transparent elections, so that the legitimacy of the voting cannot be doubted", the Chairman of the regional Public Chamber Olga Panchihina said. "We suggest that political parties respect the rights of citizens, respect each other so that these elections become open and clear for the citizens of the republic."

According to the head of the public organization, the Chamber is open to signing the agreement with other political parties.
