Vladimir Putin proposes retirement age to be raised for women to 60, for men - to 65 years

Vladimir Putin proposed to raise the retirement age for women to 60 years, and not to 63 years, for men - to 65 years, TASS reports. Vladimir Putin addressed the citizens of the country in a live broadcast about the pension changes.
The President proposed to reduce the length of service giving the right to early retirement by three years - for women up to 37 years, and for men up to 42.
The retirement age raising will not affect workers in harmful industries, as well as indigenous peoples of the north, the head of state noted.
Putin also proposed to introduce increased pensions for over 30 years of work in the countryside.
