Rustem Khamitov entered top 15 national governors rating

Rustem Khamitov, having risen immediately by four positions, took the 14th place in the National Governors Rating for July-August 2018 presented by the Information Communications Center "Rating". This is the second result among the leaders of the Volga Federal District entities.

The rapid socio-economic development of Bashkortostan and positive initiatives of the Head of the Republic aimed at improving the quality of life of the regional population were highly assessed by federal experts.

Thus, according to the compilers of the rating, experts marked quite significant funds allocated for the regional roads repair. This year, 930 km of roads will be repaired; 19 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

Positions of the regional leadership have been strengthened by information on support of preschool and school education. Earlier it became known that about 700 million rubles will be spent from the federal budget for the construction of kindergartens, and in 2019 the transfer will reach almost 1 billion rubles. By 2021, it is planned to create 10,000 places in kindergartens of the region. More than 1 billion rubles from the budget of Bashkortostan is allocated for capital repair of schools. Also, scholarships of the Head of Bashkortostan will be significantly increased.

Besides, the experts note the Rustem Khamitov’s vigorous participation in preparation for the celebration of the 100-anniversary of the republic, his plans to "make Bashkortostan the most attractive territory in terms of investment", "the efforts of the head of the republic to give international status to unique geological natural objects" and "successful development of the tourism industry in the region".

The plans to build a new football stadium in Ufa, several large healthcare facilities, as well as efforts to solve the problem of defrauded housing equity holders, were also taken into account.

The positions of governors in the rating are determined on the basis of the opinions of federal and regional experts. Polls are conducted as an anonymous absentee questionnaire, a number of experts place their author's comments in the text of the poll itself.
