Saxon parliamentarian and business delegation arrives in Bashkiria

UFA, 24 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. An official delegation of the Saxon Landtag of the Free State of Saxony arrives in Bashkortostan. The visit was organized within the framework of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Bashkortostan and Saxony. The delegation, consisting of more than 20 people, is headed by Sebastian Frieder Fisher, the Chairman of the Saxon Landtag Committee on Environment and Agriculture. The Consul, the Permanent Deputy Consul General of Germany in Yekaterinburg Ludwig Neudorfer and the Agriculture Consultant of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Moscow Thomas Christian Huber will also arrive in Ufa.

The visit of the Saxon delegation will last from August 26 to September 1. During this time, the guests will see not only the city of Ufa, but also Ufa, Beloretsk, Burzyan regions, the press service of the State Assembly RB informs.

"This is the most representative delegation from foreign countries in the history of the State Assembly. This visit should make a solid foundation for economic and cultural cooperation between the regions of the two countries", commented on the Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultay of the Republic of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev.

During the visit, the meetings of the German side with the deputies of the State Assembly, the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy, the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations, the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism are planned.

The guests will also meet with the Supreme Mufti, the Chairman of the Central Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tajuddin, the scientific and pedagogical team of Bashkir State Agrarian University, the members of the Association of Hunters and Fishermen of the Republic of Bashkortostan, representatives of political parties, the Bashkir Honey House, the Shulgan-Tash State Nature Biosphere Reserve. They will visit the Botanical Garden Institute of the Ufa Federal Research Center RAS, the "Alexeevsky" farm, "Akbuzat" racetrack, "Selena" timber company.
