Mikhail Babich is appointed Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus

UFA, 24 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Mikhail Babich is appointed an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus.

The relevant decrees were signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Both documents are published on the official Internet portal of legal information on Friday, August 24.

Earlier, the post of the Ambassador to Belarus was occupied by Alexander Surikov.

Mikhail Babich before his new appointment was the Russian Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District.

The Deputy Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation to the Volga Federal District Igor Panshin was appointed the Acting Plenipotentiary Envoy after Mikhail Babich was relieved from this post, the press service of the embassy informs.
