Lean Government project implementation saved time and money in Bashkortostan

UFA, 30 July 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The first stage of the "Lean Government" project resulted in significant time, costs and labor saving. Its results were summed up at a meeting of the Coordinating Council, which was held by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

According to the head of the project office, the chief of administration of the Head RB Rinat Shagalin, fourteen state authorities were involved in the first stage of the project.

Thus, the regional Ministry of Health managed to reduce the time of forming a human resources reserve of medical organizations.

Consideration procedure of citizens' appeals was optimized at the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of the republic. Due to the developed thematic classifier, appeals now reach responsible officers several times faster and without the participation of the management. Thus, the operational efficiency, in this case, has increased fourfold.

The Head of Bashkortostan noted that the first stage of the "Lean Government" project in the republic had started quite successfully.

“It is important that we managed to convey the significance of these changes and, most importantly, their irreversibility to our departments. Many of the management teams involved in the project demonstrated responsible attitude to this matter”, said Rustem Khamitov.

Total, 43 processes were optimized: 41% of them were accounted for the processes related to the provision of public services, 11% - for consideration of citizens' appeals, 34% - for work of state bodies, 14% - publication and approval of regulatory legal acts. 37 processes out of 43 began to take less time, in some cases they became faster by three to four times.
