Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Bashkortostan residents

UFA, 22 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.The chief federal inspector Mikhail Zakomaldin, on behalf of the Volga Presidential Envoy Mikhail Babich, presented letters of gratitude from the head of state at the regional Presidential Reception. Heads of administrations of cities and regions, deputies of the State Assembly-Kurultay RB, volunteers, heads of youth unions were marked for active participation in the preparation and holding of the elections 2018.

During the solemn ceremony, Mikhail Zakomaldin stressed that the country's main political event in the republic took place without serious violations.

"More than 77 percent of the total number of voters, residents of the region, supported the incumbent President of the country. The turnout in the elections of the head of state was more than 75 percent in our region. All the awardees made a personal contribution to the organization of elections in the territories entrusted to them. They earnestly worked for the good of our Motherland. High turnout rates testify to the federal, republican and municipal authorities effectiveness assessed positively by our citizens", the chief federal inspector concluded.
