Vladimir Putin answered 79 questions during "Direct Line"

UFA, 8 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The President of Russia in a live broadcast managed to answer 79 questions during 4 hours and 20 minutes. Vladimir Putin answered questions from residents of Russia and other countries. For the President, this is the first "Direct Line" during the new six-year term at the highest state post and the 16th since 2001, TASS reports.
The head of state selected and read out a part of the messages by himself. They were dedicated to economics, ecology and infrastructure development. Twelve questions concerned the problems of the economics, seven - the domestic policy of the Russian Federation, eight – the international problems (relations between the Russian Federation and the United States and Great Britain, the problems of the Ukrainian reconciliation, the situation of the Russian-speaking population in the Baltic countries, Syria), per one was devoted to sports, development of cosmonautics, three – health care problems, five - social policy, two - ecology, two - the army and defense industry complex. Another seven questions were of a personal nature.
The total number of addresses to the head of state reached 2.5 million.
