Vladimir Putin and PRC President will attend young hockey players’ game from Bashkortostan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend a hockey game of junior teams in Tianjin. The heads of state will see a match of young hockey players from Bashkortostan. This is reported by the TASS with reference to the presidential aide Yury Ushakov.

"Putin and Xi Jinping will travel by train to Tianjin City, where they will attend a hockey game of junior club teams of Russia and China," Ushakov said, explaining that the Russian side will be represented by a team of children from Bashkiria aged 13-15.

According to the representative of the Kremlin, such a hockey meeting is very symbolic, because Russia is assisting China in the development and implementation of this sport, including the fact that the Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing in 2022.

The presidential aide said that the leaders of the Russian Federation and the PRC would greet the players and talk with them after the match.
