Rustem Khamitov participated in preliminary voting

UFA, 4 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov took part in a preliminary voting (primaries) to select candidates for the deputies of the State Assembly – Kurultay RB from the United Russia political party.

The head of the region voted at the territorial counting station located in the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall. He noted that the primaries were, first of all, an assessment of those who would participate in the elections in September.

The preliminary voting is a competitive, open procedure for selecting candidates from the party for their subsequent nomination as candidates to the State Assembly - Kurultay RB. Any citizen of the republic can vote at his territorial station. As the voting is rating, you can vote for any number of candidates included in the list.

In Bashkortostan, 662 counting stations were formed, of which 77 - in Ufa. The stations will be open until 20:00. 584 people take part in the preliminary voting in the republic.
