United Russia preliminary voting will be held in Bashkortostan on June 3
UFA, 29 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The United Russia preliminary voting will be held in Bashkortostan on June 3. Residents of the republic will elect candidates from the party who will take part in the autumn elections to the State Assembly - the Kurultay RB.
662 counting stations will be opened in the region on June 3 from 8.00 to 20.00.
Participation in the preliminary voting is a prerequisite for nomination from the United Russia party at the elections in the republic on September 9, 2018.
The nomination of the participants of the preliminary voting lasted more than a month, from April 3 to May 15. More than 660 applications for participation in the internal party selection of candidates were received.
The most important part of the process is debates, participation in which is mandatory. According to the regulations on the procedure for preliminary voting, each participant is obliged to speak at minimum two debates. This demonstrates a candidate's ability to convey his position to voters.
It is worth considering that voting will be made in the form of a rating. That is, voters can tick off several names, and then a rating will be made.
For the first time, residents of Bashkortostan can vote not only at the counting stations on June 3, but also online from May 28 to June 1. To do this, before May 30, you need to leave an application on the site epg.er.ru and wait for the call of a call center specialist.
The regional branch of United Russia invites all residents of Bashkortostan on June 3 to participate in the Single Day of Preliminary Voting and to select worthy candidates for further nomination at the autumn elections.
