New Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia: "Bashkortostan is first subject of Russian Federation that I visit"

UFA, 28 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashkortostan was the first region visited by the new Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia, Ngo Duc Manh, appointed to this position in early 2018. He said this today at a meeting with the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov.

“Bashkortostan is the first subject of the Russian Federation, which I visit. I came here to see your progress firsthand, to learn more about the cooperation possibilities between Vietnam and Russia, including with your republic, "said Ngo Duc Manh.

Ngo Duc Manh pointed out that Vietnam and Russia had great potential for development. Therefore, it is necessary to work jointly to take these productive relationships to a new higher level.

“The republic has made great strides under your leadership. I know that Bashkortostan is one of the most developed entities of the Russian Federation. You have good opportunities associated with natural resources - oil, gas, etc. Many Vietnamese, who graduated from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, live there” said the Ambassador. “I think that we have every opportunity to strengthen cooperation. And the fact that the Vietnamese corporation ТН Group has already launched large-scale investment projects here testifies to the fact that favorable conditions have been created in the republic for other Vietnamese businessmen who want to invest in it”.
