Rustem Khamitov took part in joint meeting of Supreme and General Councils of United Russia

Today in Moscow, the Head of Bashkortostan, member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party, Rustem Khamitov, took part in a joint meeting of the Supreme and General Councils of the party, which was carried out in the framework of the "Direction 2026" party conference.

This conference concludes a stage of a large-scale joint work, during which regional discussions took place aimed at collecting proposals for the implementation of President Vladimir Putin's Address to the Federal Assembly, as well as modernization of the party. The discussions took place in two stages – inter-municipal and regional in each constituent entity of the Russian Federation. Regions presented their proposals and best practices for implementing the Address and also worked out the main problems in this part.

On the sidelines of the conference, a meeting of the Council of the faction leaders took place, discussion platforms involving secretaries of regional branches, faction leaders in legislative assemblies of subjects, interregional coordination councils, deputies of the State Duma were held.

Speaking at the meeting, the chairman of the party, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev noted that the conference allowed formulating clearly the work of United Russia to achieve the goals set in the new May presidential decree.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the party Boris Gryzlov marked that United Russia would be able to realize its potential only through its own renewal procedures.

The Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrei Turchak summed up the results of the held municipal and regional discussions, in which 30 thousand people had taken part.

According to him, the whole array of local proposals was processed. The most interesting initiatives of the regional offices formed a basis for the draft final resolution of the conference, the final version of which will be finalized with the participation of the expert community. Road maps and criteria for evaluating their implementation will be prepared in all its areas.
