Liliya Gumerova believes that Russian Education Academy’s unique experience is in demand in regions

UFA, 18 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova took part in a general meeting of the Russian Academy of Education.

"Modern society makes ever higher demands on the quality of education, and the level of education of citizens is now the most important strategic resource of the state. Recent changes in the Russian educational system are a logical response to the challenges of the time", the Senator said.

According to her, the activities of the Russian Academy of Education are closely connected with the regions.

Liliya Gumerova drew attention to the pressing issues related to the safe environment in schools, the development of psychological services. Representatives of the academy responded positively to the invitation of the Senator to take part in the working group activity of the Council of Federation on a complex of issues related to safety in schools.
