Russian FSB Directorate for Bashkortostan is headed by Yuri Seryshev

UFA, 17 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, /. Today the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with a newly appointed head of the Federal Security Service Directorate for Bashkortostan Yuri Seryshev. Earlier, he headed the Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Ingushetia and the Astrakhan region.

The new top officer was introduced by the head of the HR Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia, Alexander Kotov.

The meeting was attended by Oleg Gaidenko, former head of the republican directorate of the FSB of Russia, who is currently appointed the deputy director of the FSB of Russia - head of the FSB Border Service Directorate. The head of Bashkortostan thanked Oleg Gaidenko for his impeccable service and wished him success in his new role.

The parties discussed the issues of ensuring security in the republic and the tasks facing the directorate team.
