Vladimir Putin approved new government structure: two ministries are renamed

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. President Vladimir Putin signed a decree "On the Structure of Federal Executive Bodies", Izvestia reported citing the Kremlin's press service.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has been transformed into the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

In addition, a separate agency for educational supervision will be established. It will be subordinated directly to the government.
