Liliya Gumerova: "Concrete steps should be taken to create modern children’s safe rest and health system"

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/.  A meeting of the relevant committee for science, education and culture was held in the Federation Council. It was carried out by the first deputy chairman of the committee Liliya Gumerova. The issues related to the upcoming summer health campaign were considered. The Senator from Bashkortostan noted that the Federation Council gave priority to issues of safe and quality children's recreation.

In particular, the issues of creating a federal register of children's recreation and health organizations, lack of qualified medical workers in the camps, improving the quality of recreation and health improvement for orphans, strengthening work with "troubled teenagers" with the participation of representatives of public, veteran organizations, military universities were raised.

Liliya Gumerova stressed that all announced concrete proposals will be summarized, analyzed and taken into account in the work of the Federation Council Committee.

"With the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, subjects of Russia, we will review the best regional practices, analyze what else should be done for safe, quality, creative children's recreation," the parliamentarian said.
