"Geopolitical status of modern Russia: state and prospects" will be discussed at round table

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. On Thursday, May 17, the Bashkir Academy of Public Administration and Management under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosts a roundtable on the topic "The Geopolitical Status of Modern Russia: the State and Prospects".

During the roundtable, it is planned to discuss a geopolitical situation in the modern world and the place of Russia; sanctions and counter-sanctions: pros and cons for the Russian economy; issues of the geopolitical situation influence on the development of Russian political system: opposition and power; a military threat: myth or reality?; east or west: the prospects for Russia's civilizational choice.

The event will be attended by the leadership and faculty of the Bashkir Academy of Public Administration and Management, invited teachers from other universities, political scientists, representatives of the Public Chamber RB.

The moderator of the roundtable will be the professor of the Department of Political Science, Sociology and Philosophy of the Academy Sergey Lavrentiev.

The beginning is at 12 o'clock in the main building of the Academy, auditorium 315 (Zaki Validi St., 40).
