Information cooperation with China was discussed in Bashkiria

UFA, 8 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. In the Bashkortostan Government, representatives of republican media met with an official delegation of the Chinese province of Anhui paying a visit to Ufa.

The participants discussed possibilities of expanding the information exchange that promotes the cooperation development between the regions of the Volga Federal District and the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River of China.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Government Staff Ilshat Tazhitdinov said that as part of the agreement between the Anhui TV Company, the Bashkortostan media holding and the Center for the Study of Russia at the University of Anhui signed in June 2017 an exchange of programs had already started. The materials prepared by the Chinese colleagues are aired on BST TV since December 2017, and last month a premiere of the "Shulgan-Tash" film took place on the Chinese television.

Since May 14, "Anhui TV Week on the BST channel" is launched. The organization of "Bashkir TV Week on the Anhui province TV channel" is under consideration.

Following the meeting, the Cooperation Agreement was signed between the newspapers "Respublika Bashkortostan" and "Anhui Province", which provides for a monthly exchange of information on the culture, traditions, tourism potential of the regions.
