Bashkiria delegation told about preparations for "Apimondia - 2021" Congress at meeting in Romania

UFA, 7 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. The delegation from Bashkiria returned to Ufa from Romania, where a meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations "Apimodia" was held. It was attended by the Head of the Government RB Ilshat Tahitdinov and the president of the Russian National Union of Beekeepers Arnold Butov.

On May 5, in Bucharest, a presentation was held on the preparations for the 47th Congress of Apimondia and the "ApiExpo" exhibition in Ufa in 2021.

An organizing committee is being formed, and a plan of measures is being finalized at the level of the Russian Government.

Members of the executive committee inquired about the infrastructure facilities to be involved in the "Apimondia".

"Particular attention was paid to the need to study pressing issues of beekeepers, as well as to take additional measures to increase state support of the beekeeping industry. An agreement was reached with President of the Apimondia Philip McCabe on his participation in the first meeting of the federal organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the 47th Congress of Apimondia", the republican government reported.

On May 6, a number of working meetings took place with representatives of the Turkish and Canadian organizing committees. An agreement was reached on mutual assistance within the framework of forthcoming congresses.
