Strategic Committee to be created under Bashkiria Government

UFA, 17 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. It is planned to create a new coordinating body under the Government of Bashkiria - a Strategic Committee.

As Yevgeny Guriev, the Vice Prime Minister of Land and Property Relations, said at a meeting in the Republican Government, the main goal of the project is to optimize the structure of interdepartmental collegial bodies and provide an integrated approach in related issues of social and economic development of Bashkiria.

The functional of the Strategic Committee will include activities in the field of strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting and ensuring the republic's advanced social and economic development.

In addition, the key tasks of the committee include the implementation of an Action Plan for the Strategy-2030 implementation and a Comprehensive Plan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic for 2018, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the region added.

The Strategic Committee will include members of the Government of Bashkiria, representatives of a number of territorial structures of federal executive bodies and enterprises of the republic.

Organizational support for the activities of the Committee will be provided by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance of Bashkortostan.
