Funds received from Bashneft’s lawsuit will be directed to health facilities construction - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 4 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. The funds received from a suit of the Rosneft and Bashneft oil companies to Sistema JSFC will be directed to the health facilities construction, Rustem Khamitov, the Head of Bashkortostan, said at the 3rd Medical Forum on April 3. A new program for the construction of more than a dozen health facilities is launched in the republic. Among them, a ward building of the Republican Cancer Detection Centre and a new building of the Republican Cardiac Center with an area of 35 thousand square meters and the state-of-the-art equipment are the largest ones.

The same list includes two children's polyclinics in the towns of Dyurtyuli and Tuymazy, surgical buildings in Oktyabrsky and Uchaly, a new clinic at the G. Kuvatov Republican Clinical Hospital, a new clinic in the city of Birsk, a new building of the Ufa's Infectious Clinical Hospital No. 4, and a new building of the Maternity Hospital №3 in Ufa.

"Total, they will require about 13-14 billion rubles in the next 2.5 years", said the head of the region and explained that such funds were available at the government. Just last week, Bashneft transferred to the republic a profit tax of 16.5 billion rubles for March. The profit was formed as a result of transferring 100 billion rubles by Sistema JSFC to Bashneft's account on the grounds of court decisions.
