Rustem Khamitov held meeting on "Lean Government" project implementation

UFA, 30 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday, in Ufa's polyclinic No. 32, the Head of Bashkortostan, Rustem Khamitov, held a meeting on the interim results of the Lean Government project in the ministries of the republic.

The Head of the Region recalled that the introduction of lean principles in activities of the authorities began in February this year. A Coordination Council for the implementation of the pilot project has been established. The Rosatom state corporation actively renders assistance in this work.

The executive officer of the Head of Bashkortostan administration, the head of the project office Rinat Shagalin said that the "Lean Government" project involved 14 public authorities, and in each of them a working group to improve and standardize the processes was established.

To date, about half of all processes have been analyzed. In the authorities implementing the "Lean Government" principles, proposals from employees and visitors of departments are collected. According to Rinat Shagalin, the main indicator of the project success will be the consumers' assessment of the quality and speed of service delivery.

The Deputy Minister of Health Dinara Enikeeva and Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection Fanur Shaikhislamov shared their experience in the implementation of the project.

The head of Rosatom State Corporation project Vladimir Arzhentsov reminded that the project was being implemented in six regions of the country. Bashkortostan was included in their list on the initiative of the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov.

"The activity of the republican project office gave positive results. Bashkortostan was the only region that included at once 14 departments in it and was already getting the first results. The so-called organizational stage of the project has been completed; maps of the current state of affairs have been formed," said Vladimir Arzhentsov.

The Head of Bashkortostan stressed that the lean principles should not be limited to working processes only.

"Thriftiness in all aspects should become a way of life", noted Rustem Khamitov.
