Vladimir Putin laid flowers at shopping mall in Kemerovo

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived early in the Tuesday morning to the "Zimnyaya Vishnya" shopping and entertainment mall in Kemerovo, where more than 60 people were killed in a fire and laid flowers in memory of the victims of the tragedy.

The head of state put a bouquet of roses at an impromptu memorial outside the building, where people bring flowers, soft toys, and photographs of the deceased, Interfax reports. Vladimir Putin, along with the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Siberian Federal District, Sergei Menyailo, inspected a facade of the burnt down building.

The fire in the "Zimnyaya Vishnya" mall in Kemerovo occurred on March 25. The fire broke out on the last floor with cinema halls and many children were there on Sunday. According to the latest information, 64 people were killed in the fire, 12 people were hospitalized, of which one child 11 years old is in serious condition. The condition of the other victims is classified as moderately or slightly injured.

According to the latest information, 25 dead were identified.
