Turnout exceeded 51 percent by 15 o’clock in Bashkiria - CEC RB
UFA, 18 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The voter turnout at the presidential elections exceeded 51.6% by 15 o’clock in Bashkortostan. This was stated by the head of the information center of the CEC RB Rif Arslanov.
The representative of the regional CEC noted that 60 percent of citizens, who used the new voting procedure at the Mobile Voter location, casted their votes.
Rural voters are traditionally most active in Bashkortostan.
Today, on March 18, the elections of the head of state are held in Russia. Voters are expected at 3,398 polling stations and 38 mobile sites established in temporary places of citizens residence (31 in medical institutions, three in sanatoriums, three in pre-trial detention facilities, and one at the railway station of Ufa).
Citizens of Russia who do not have registration in the territory of the Russian Federation will be able to fulfill their civic duty at the station No. 119 at the address: Ufa, Posadskaya Street, 26.
