Rustem Khamitov: "We collaborate with all political forces"

UFA, 15 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday in the Ufa Congress Hall, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the heads of regional branches of political parties. Various aspects of the republican socio-economic development, party projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the population were discussed there.

The meeting was held on the initiative of the Interparty Council of the regional branches of political parties of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

“The maturity of our social, political system is largely determined by its ability to live and develop in a competitive environment, to perceive different ideas and points of view, including alternative ones. In our country, in our republic in recent years, new political parties have been operating along with traditional, large parliamentary parties, expressing the interests of different social groups", said Rustem Khamitov. “I think that this is a normal situation, when there is another point of view to solve a problem. But this view should be insightful, aimed precisely at solving existing complex issues, existing contradictions.”

The Head of the Republic noted that the platforms of different political parties differ mainly in their approaches to determining ways, methods of solving key tasks, achieving socially significant goals. But the goals and tasks themselves are common to everybody.

“In order to adequately respond to modern challenges, it is important to strengthen the atmosphere of cooperation and trust in society. Let’s build relationships on cooperation and trust, let's expand the space for dialogue to implement joint important projects and initiatives of citizens”, Rustem Khamitov noted.

In the course of the conversation, the leaders of the local branches of the parties put forward initiatives in the sphere of construction, health, ecology, social protection of the population. Following the discussion, participants came to the conclusion that such a format of communication and interaction of all political forces represented in the republic was promising and agreed to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
