Our republic is ready for elections - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 15 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. Bashkortostan is ready to hold presidential elections in Russia. This was stated by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov at a meeting with heads of regional branches of political parties.

"In our republic, election campaigns are usually take place at a high organizational level", the Head of the Region said. "We can confidently say that the republic as a whole is ready to hold elections for the President of the Russian Federation in 2018. All procedures are fulfilled, election commissions are provided with all the things needed. All the legislation requirements for creating conditions for campaigning and candidates' programs presenting are met".

Rustem Khamitov noted that the elections of the President of Russia are very important in the political life of the country.

"This is a real test for our society and each of us for civil maturity, it’s an indicator of our readiness to determine the destiny of the country and, of course, our destiny, to bear responsibility for the future," the head of the republic said. "Elections are a legitimate opportunity for citizens to form power bodies, to express their attitude towards them, and evaluate their work. And the power is ready for such assessment. This is a significant moment to set important tasks for the future development, to take new steps on uniting society and, if necessary, make adjustments to our further work.”
