Ufa natives residing in USA voted ahead of time for future Russian president

UFA, 12 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Natalia Ovcharuk/. On Sunday, March 11, an early voting in the Russian presidential elections took place in four states of America. No incidents were reported, TASS informs.

"Associations of compatriots play an active role in the organizing and informing process. Eight hours were allocated for voting in the cities of Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Minneapolis", said the spokesman of the Russian Embassy in the USA, Nikolai Akhonin.

In addition to Russians permanently residing in America, those who temporarily reside in the country also participated in voting. Among them there are residents of Ufa, Vladivostok, Penza, Novosibirsk, Tatarstan, Rostov-on-Don, Perm Territory, Chuvashia, Sverdlovsk Region, other subjects and cities of Russia.

On March 18 in the United States polling stations in the embassy in Washington, the consulates in New York, Seattle and Houston will be also equipped.
